Clayton Student President's Welcome

Welcome to Uni!

For most people, starting uni is a scary experience: you’ve got to make new friends, allocate yourself to classes, choose subjects and find your way around campus. It can be intimidating and fairly bewildering. That’s why we have Orientation!

Orientation week is an opportunity to find where your classes are, meet a few people and have a good time before classes begin. Make sure you come along as it will make the first few weeks a lot easier.

Monash Student Association (MSA), your student union on the Clayton campus, assists in the running of Orientation. The MSA is run by students for students: we exist to provide services, support and representation to ensure you have a great university experience. From Lot’s Wife – the student newspaper, to Host Scheme - the Orientation program, to political campaigns for better campus services or better income support from the government, there are many aspects of the MSA you can get involved in.

To find out more pop up to the MSA, upstairs in the Campus Centre (above ‘The Shop’) or visit us online at www.msa.monash.edu.au

To get the most out of the MSA in 2008 you will need your Culture Card. That’s your subscription to the MSA for 2008, and will gain you access to extra services and deals that are listed at www.msa.monash.edu.au

Sign up today to support your student union because it supports you!
