Caulfield Student President's Welcome

MONSU Caulfield is your student association, committed to listening, working and delivering on behalf of all Monash Caulfield students. For 2008, a number of exciting activities will be run during Orientation, all of which are designed to add a bit of fun and flare alongside your academic studies.

Orientation is a time when campus life is most active, with an abundance of different activities to cater for all students' varied interests. Clubs and societies fill the common lawn, lunches and performances tie in with a specific theme for each day of Orientation Week, culminating with the first Thursday Night Party of the year which is always one of the biggest.

It is important to remember that University is not just about a degree, but the experience, and your experience at university is only what you make of it - whether you are entering university for the first time, returning for another year of study, or starting a new degree, remember to find a balance between study, work and fun. MONSU Caulfield provides a large range of opportunities to extend your university experience beyond that of studying, through a variety of clubs, sporting activities, volunteering, events planning and management, as well as opportunities to be a student representative on various University and MONSU Caulfield committees.

If you are after more information about the services that MONSU Caulfield provides to students of Monash Caulfield, check out the MONSU Caulfield web site at www.monsucaulfield.org.au or search for us ‘monsu caulfield’ on myspace, or be our friend on facebook by searching and joining the MONSU Caulfield group. An array of information regarding the various committees and groups of MONSU Caulfield, club listings and resources, accommodation, student rights and advocacy, and free legal service, are all accessible from the MONSU Caulfield web site. By being our friend on myspace or facebook you have the added benefit of being kept in the loop about most events and opportunities around our Caulfield campus.

Please remember that we are a small group of students representing your needs, so if you feel there are issues that are not being addressed, or any other feedback  regarding MONSU Caulfield or the various services offered by MONSU Caulfield, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly or any of your other Student Representatives.

We at MONSU Caulfield will continue to listen, work and deliver for all Monash Caulfield students in 2008.
