Monash University experts are available over the Christmas break for media comment.
Alcohol and driving/car accidents/holiday road toll
Experts from the Monash University Accident Research Centre are available over the holiday period. Professor Max Cameron (+61 417 331 762) is an expert on road and car safety, injury prevention and drink driving. Bruce Corben (+61 417 518 362) is an expert on speed, road structures, road safety policy and general road safety issues. Dr Lesley Day (+61 418 507 993) is an expert on non-transport injury. Professor Brian Fildes (+61 419 375 909) can discuss motor vehicle safety.
Retail spending
Steve Ogden-Barnes (+61 418 321 068) is the Program director of the Australian Centre for Retail Studies and is an expert on shopping, retail trends and consumer trends.
Religion and the tradition of Christmas
Professor Gary Bouma (+61 409 234 960) from the School of Political and Social Inquiry and can comment on religion and spirituality.
New Year's resolutions
Psychology lecturer Dr Simon Moss (+61 402 476 084) is an expert on work/life balance. He is able to comment on tips for fulfilling New Year's resolutions and issues relating to work over the Christmas period.
