Engage with contemporary art and ideas at MUMA!

Through our Education and Public Programs Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA) aims to make its exhibition program and collection accessible and interesting to a diverse range of audiences, including schools, tertiary and community groups and the general public. MUMA Education and Public Programs include:

  • Free exhibition entry and participation in museum-based artist, curatorial and education talks.
  • Professional development programs including teacher briefings, symposia and seminars exploring recent developments in contemporary art practice
  • Monash University Collection viewing service (view selected works from the Collection by appointment, subject to availability).
  • MUMA Podcasts include artist and curator interviews, floortalks and forums concerning recent exhibitions.
  • Publications, catalogues and interpretive materials to complement museum-based and classroom teaching activities.
