Professor Gordon Smith Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, University of Maryland |
"Motor vehicle, alcohol and occupational injuries: Research activities at Maryland" Professor Smith has a current appointment with the department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at the University of Maryland , and a 25 year history in injury research employment that includes the Centres for Disease Control, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Harvard School of Public Health. Professor Smith has published extensively across a range of injury research interests, with a particular focus on workplace and alcohol-related injuries. |

Dr Michael Regan MUARC (currently on secondment to INRETS) |
Mike is currently on secondment from MUARC as a Research Director with INRETS, France, as well as an Adjunct Professor with Chalmers University, in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mike was also recently appointed as an affiliate of Lyon 2 University in Lyon, France.
Mike will present an overview of his current and recent activities in France, and the title of his presentation is "Mettre a jour sur la vie et les temps de Mike Regan". For those of you who are not proficient in French, this roughly translates into "Update on the life and times of Mike Regan". |
