Student loan non-payment

If you fall behind on your student loan repayments, we place an encumbrance on your account to block access to graduation and transcripts.

If you fall behind again, we will send you a reminder then suspend your access to the library, computers, enrolment and results records.

Removing an encumbrance

  1. Pay your overdue payments
  2. We will reset your access to services once we receive your payment. This can take up to 3 working days, or longer for BPAY payments
