Course fee payment extension for final semester students

You can delay payment of your course fees until the day before exams commence, if you:

  • Apply before your fees are due
  • Are paying full fees
  • Prove you have serious financial difficulties
  • Do not owe any fees from the previous semester when you apply
  • Have faculty support for your application

You cannot apply if you are enrolled through an Offshore Partner program. Contact them directly.

We will email your Monash account to let you know if we approved your extension.

Apply in writing

Write to your faculty. Mark your letter "Attention - Special Fees Payment Extension". You will need to:

  • Tell them about your financial difficulties (and if possible, include supporting documents such as bank statements, letters from your accountant or solicitor, a statutory declaration)
  • Include a fee payment plan

We will write to you to let you know if we approved your extension.

Conditions

You must sign a repayment schedule and agree to the conditions.

You cannot:

  • Graduate or get an official transcript until your fees are fully paid. We can give you a letter saying you have finished your course.
  • Get another fee extension if you enrol in another course
