Closure of Caulfield East Post Office

As many of you are aware the Caulfield East Post Office will, unfortunately, be closing on Friday, 27 June 2003. The Post Office has provided a valuable service to Caulfield campus staff and students. Pamphlets have been distributed campus-wide listing the nearby Australia Post locations.

Post Office Boxes will remain in their existing location until further notice. There are plans to move the boxes to another location within walking distance of the current location over the next few months. From Monday, 30 June articles that need to be picked up due to their size or the need for a signature can be collected between 8am and 10am weekdays - there will be somebody on site.

The closure will not affect the University mail as Australia Post will still pick up our mail from the Mail Room. Please note that there is an Australia Post red Mail Box on campus. It is located in the tunnel opposite the Loading Bay.

Stamps can be purchased from either the CITSU Bookshop or the Newsagency on Derby Rd. The Bookshop also sells DL size post prepaid envelopes.

If you have any queries please contact Chris Riskas from Facilities and Services on x32212.
