Professor Val Stella (BPharm 1968, HonLLD 1997)
A renowned researcher and educator, Val Stella is a distinguished professor of pharmaceutical chemistry at The University of Kansas (KU) in the USA. He has invented or co-invented drugs to treat cancer, AIDS, epilepsy and rheumatoid arthritis.

Ms Carol Schwartz AM (BA 1977, LLB 1978, MBA 1988)
Carol Schwartz is one of Australia's top business leaders. She is chairman of Industry Superannuation Property Trust, chairman of Our Community and president of the Melbourne International Arts Festival.

Dr Anusorn Sangnimnuan (PhD 1985)
Dr Sangnimnuan is president of Thai petroleum refinery Bangchak Petroleum. He was the recipient of the Asia Corporate Social Responsibility Award at this year's Asia Business Leaders Awards for his ability to translate his company's success into benefits for the community.
